Safety Convention "Safety Convention" has the same meaning as in section 2 of the Ordinance;

Safety Convention "Safety Convention" means the International Convention for the Safety of Life at Sea signed in London on the 1st November 1974; and if any amendment of the Safety Convention comes into force with respect to Malaysia, references in this Ordinance to the Safety Convention shall, unless the context otherwise requires, be construed as references to the Safety Convention as amended;
